We provide information about learning disabilities and attention deficit
disorders and referral to community, government and private service - by
phone, in person, through handouts, our website, public seminars and
workshops upon request.

The program includes a pre-assessment screening, followed by a complete formal assessment to determine learning strengths and weaknesses. Individual and group work that increases knowledge around LD and ADHD, develops effective strategies to succeed with employment, resume and cover
letter writing, and self-advocacy skills.

This program is directed at adults who are:

Unemployed or underemployed (less than 20 hours per/week)
18 years of age or older
Not eligible for employment insurance benefits
Have not collected employment insurance benefits in the past three years

This is a pre-employment program for adults with Learning Disabilities (LD) or Attention Deficit Hyperactive Disorder (ADHD), initiated by our national office in Ottawa - the Learning Disabilities Association of Canada - and
funded through the provincial component of the Opportunities Fund, Human Resources Development Canada (HRDC).
