We talked about her 2-hour job interview from a parking lot (with really good cell reception), her most memorable news assignment when she was chased by security guards in front of the Legislature Building, her love of school, and her relationship with her parents growing up.

She also talked about what a typical day looks like for her and how fortunate she was to connect with other women in the newsroom, including Sylvia Kuzyk.

This episode of The Power to Achieve is with CBC Producer Allie Jaynes! Allie was diagnosed with ADHD at the age of 36 and she says her diagnosis suddenly made her entire life make sense. She also learned of the myths and stigmas surrounding ADHD and why so many people, like Allie, go undiagnosed for most of their life.
