Barton Reading Program
Enhance Literacy with the Barton Reading Program
Designed for school-aged children and adults with reading challenges or disabilities such as dyslexia, the Barton Reading Program enhances reading, writing, and spelling skills through personalized one-on-one tutoring. This program utilizes the proven Orton-Gillingham method, which teaches the phonemic structure of the English language through a multi-sensory approach. By engaging visual, auditory, tactile, and kinesthetic senses, we cater to learners who benefit from a holistic learning experience. The tailored, one-on-one format of the Barton Reading Program ensures that each participant progresses at their own pace, addressing their unique literacy needs effectively.
Susan Barton is an internationally recognized dyslexia expert and founder of the Barton Reading & Spelling Program. In this video, Susan touches on several important topics such as: common myths, the disability label, classroom accommodations, private schools, and more.
