Jordan Barnes

Registered Social Worker

Jordan utilizes a strengths-based, person-centered approach to empower clients on their personal journey. He believes in letting clients lead the way. Sessions can focus on everything from practical problem solving to finding new ways of being. He has many years of experience working with a neurodiverse population, brings a disability informed lens to his counselling work.

Jordan support adults as well as young people. When working with youth, he understands the limitations of a conversation-based counselling approach and integrates 'right brain' activities, worksheets and games that help build vital life skills.

 

Andrea Espenell

Registered Social Worker, Trained in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy

Utilizing her combined psychology and social work education, Andrea supports individuals of all ages in a collaborative manner. Her approach to counselling/coaching is based on client empowerment, meaning that you are in the driver's seat. She values collaboration in finding a counselling approach that is a good fit for you. Her role throughout the counselling/coaching process is to support you in achieving your goals, big or small, by providing you with information, strategies, and tools that you may need along the way. 

Areas of Specialization: ADHD, learning disabilities, executive function, advocacy, anxiety, depression, suicide, and self-confidence.
